Hoefman Labs Boosts Maternal Care: Donates Medical Equipment to Ridge Hospital’s Antenatal Unit

Hoffman Laboratories, a pharmaceutical firm headquartered in Nice, France, has contributed medical devices and dietary supplements to the Antenatal Unit of the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, often referred to as Ridge Hospital. This donation aims to enhance maternity care services in Ghana.

The contribution encompasses a fetal Doppler, an infant measuring scale, and a vital sign monitor—key instruments for monitoring temperature, blood pressure, and fetal growth. According to hospital authorities, this new gear will likely improve the institution’s ability to offer prompt and effective treatment to expectant mothers.

After the presentation, Benjamin Appiah Ameyaw, who serves as the Country Manager for Hoffman Laboratories, stated, "Our objective is to decrease pregnancy-related complications and enhance outcomes for both mothers and infants."

The company, specializing in women’s health items, additionally provided its Vivagen supplements.
