In India, 82% of people prefer diagnostic centers for routine health screenings, whereas just 18% go for alternatives. hospitals, as per an Ekincare report.

The findings showed that clients faced a 56% reduction in prolonged waiting periods at testing facilities.

"Modern individuals seeking healthcare prioritize quickness, clarity, and autonomy, with diagnostic centers better fulfilling these needs compared to hospitals," stated Kiran Kalakuntla, CEO and founder of ekincare.

In the meantime, 71% of cases were handled within 48 hours, whereas only 47% came from medical facilities.

Additionally, 3.3% of diagnostic center reports needed adjustments, compared to 4.4% in hospitals.
